We take pride in raising high-quality, healthy does. We believe that healthy, slick does produce high-quality kids. That's proven true for us, too. Every one of the kids born to our does have grown faster and been healthier than kids we have purchased from other farms. We believe if you take care of your does, your entire herd will benefit.

Have you ever heard the old Missouri adage "If you don't like the weather, wait a day and it will be different"? That is the way it is here in Prairie Hollow! Our goats seem to enjoy themselves whether they are climbing snowy hillsides or grazing in the lush green pastures of summer. We certainly had a crazy year with lots of snow, ice storms, late frosts, floods, dry spells, and more floods!

Our does enjoy the variety of vegetation and terrain Prairie Hollow Farm offers them. We have lush oak forests, beautiful pastures with natural grasses like bluestem, rugged hillsides and a treat the girls especially liked this summer: blackberries. Sometimes our paint, Tilly, ate blackberries faster than I could get them picked for a cobbler, but we didn't mind sharing God's bounty with our herd.

Occasionally we offer yearling or adult does for sale. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing one of our registered does.
